A tradition of fun and inspiration
Your child will join the hundreds of young drummers who have experienced the fun and musical growth in our summer Drum
Camp. A full program of drum set, world music traditions, keyboard (mallets) percussion, practice routines, and a series of essential grooves and styles will propel your child into the fall music program inspired and ready for more. A wide variety of highly acclaimed, GRAMMY-nominated guest artists have provided expert insights and hands-on training in subjects ranging from the rich world rhythms of Africa, Brazil, Cuba and the Middle East to entertaining histories of the creation of the drum set, a uniquely American instrument.
Jim is the president of the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) New York Chapter and is a member of the PAS Drum Set Committee. He is a member of the Sabian Education Network and taught at NYC's prestigious Drummer’s Collective. Jim teaches privately in New York City and presents clinics and masterclasses at drum shops and colleges around the country.
